Kimberly Smith will defend her SLCW Women's Championship on the 28th of February at DCWF Wrestlefest XIII against Emma Grey and Kira Scarbridge in an triple threat match. At Wrestlefest XIII Kimberly Smith would for the first time enter to an new theme Underdog by Kasabian entering with the English flag drapped on her back. The match was intense back and forth between the three of them massive moments included Kim breaking up an pin with the Going Underground and Kira breaking up an pin from the Bow Bells Kick performed by Kim. Towards the end of the match Kira Scarbridge was looking on top when "The Red Devil" Samara Moonweaver would come out and deliver an haymaker with brass knuckles to take out Kira Scarbridge the later part witnessed by Kimberly Smith whom chased her off. It looked like Emma Grey was going to win the match however when she went for Irelands Fall Kimberly would roll through ending up behind Emma and performing an Piccadilly Driver before pinning to win the match and retain the SLCW Women's Championship being the first in at least three years to retain at Wrestlefest all three congratulated each other after the match. One week later at the DCWF Plexi Awards show Kimberly Smith would win an plexi award the DCWF PLEXI 2021 - Female Wrestlers Of The Year was jointly awarded to two wrestlers this year with Kimberly being one of them she would later praise the division those past and current over past year and an half or so. As an result of the attack Kimberly Smith would defend the SLCW Women's Championship against Kira Scarbridge fairly this time. Samara and Momma T attempted to interfere again Emma Grey would chase the pair off however Kira would get Kimberly after avoiding an Underground knee to hit her Snapshot finisher to pin and win the SLCW Women's Championship ending Kimberly's run at 6 months and an day long they shook hands afterwards with Kimberly congratulating the new champion. Kimberly Smith would disappear from DCWF for the weeks following the loss however her next move would shock most of the wrestling world.
