Steel made sporadic appearances after the FPV and failed to win any of her remaining matches with the company. On 13th October 2020 Joanne Steel announced that she had left DCWF, after a disagreement with a booker who had gone on an expletive laden rant against her in a private meeting. Steel having had previously behind the scenes issues with the same person and had already quit once because of them, this time however she completely severed ties with the company stating that
