Blue Luxe (born October 4th, 1995) is an American virtual professional wrestler. She is currently a free agent, having previously been signed to Furry Wrestling Federation and [United Furry Wrestling (UFW)|United Furry Wrestling]], making her initial in-ring debut masquerading as Red Umbra on September 27, 2020, a form that would ultimately be known as Mendax Umbra.

Background[edit | edit source]

Blue Luxe is an albino red fox, hailing from Boston, Massachusetts.

Mendax Umbra[edit | edit source]

Blue Luxe initially debuted under the guise of then-FWF Women's Alpha Champion Red Umbra on September 27, 2020, a few weeks after the actual Red Umbra went on hiatus due to sustaining injuries related to her grudge match against Dante. During Blue Luxe's run as Red Umbra, she made a considerable effort to mimic Umbra's more strike-based style, to varying degrees of success.

Suspicions arose around Blue Luxe almost immediately, when it became apparent the normally mouthy Umbra was no longer speaking. Despite this, she managed to maintain her cover for some time, even successfully defending Red Umbra's status as champion on more than one occasion. Ultimately, she lost the title to Lotus on November 6th, 2020; it was not long after that cracks began to form in her facade, with Prince Escamoso, noted rival of Red Umbra, fighting her a few weeks later and leaving the match extremely suspicious of her authenticity.

Blue Luxe was eventually discovered when Red Umbra came back to the FWF on December 13th, 2020, medically cleared to return to the ring. During a promo espousing her long absence and her continued reign as FWF Women's Alpha Champion, FWF CEO Maynard von Schnauzer came out of the back and questioned her intentions, claiming that she had been back for some time and even lost her belt. Confused and exasperated, Red Umbra demanded to know what was going on, to which Blue Luxe came out, also dressed as Red Umbra. Luxe was soundly defeated by Red Umbra in the impromptu bout, and was not heard from again for several months.

Blue Luxe[edit | edit source]

Blue Luxe made her proper debut on February 14th, 2021, fighting the only person who would give her the opportunity following her deception: Kit Staczik. While Luxe lost the match decidedly, her true skills as a technician impressed Staczik enough to take her on as an apprentice.
