Furry Wrestling Federation (FWF)
The Furry Wrestling Federation (FWF) is a furry-based promotion. Founded in 1999, the FWF is notable for being the oldest known active digital wrestling promotion across all platforms, lasting over 23 years in various incarnations. The present iteration, FWF 5.0, currently hosts the flagship event FWF Blood at Studio FWF every Monday at 7PM SLT. The creator and current owner is Rocco Racclown.
History
FWF began in December of 1999 as Furcadian Championship Wrestling (FCW) on the MMO social game Furcadia, where the wrestling was primarily achieved by text-based roleplaying, with some movement and use of props when necessary. In March 2000, it was later re-named to Furcadian Wrestling Federation. When the promotion changed from Furcadia to Second Life, the name was once again changed to Furry Wrestling Federation.
