Professional Wrestling Career

Training and Independent Circuit (2014)

In early August 2013, Lyra Nova was founded, recruited and trained at Virtual Attitude Wrestling (VAW). She was recruited by Jay Alexander Frost acting under VAW's "Opportunity" program. Training under Stacy Grace, Lyra made her debut as "Phoenix" at VAW Turbulence in a short match against her trainer Stacy Grace. Throughout her time there, she gained various amount of followers and onlookers. She quickly became Rookie of the Year but found that her talents were being underutilized. She decided to part ways and move onto the Indies.

Following her departure of VAW, Lyra signed to multiple Indy companies to home in on her skills. She first signed to Apocadelic Performance Wrestling (APW), an independent company owned by Broly Blackheart. During her time there, she became the APW Women's US Champion after defeating Arcana. She feuded with many there such as Miss Misty and Michelle Snyder.

She then signed to Hellkatz Angels Wrestling X-treme (HAWX). She sent shockwaves during her time at HAWX as she grouped up with Miss Misty, Mis.A.Rae and Nick Patrick Halderman as their manager forming WMD. She became the first Demonlition Derby Royale Winner. During her time she feuded with various talents among the roster.

As she progressed throughout and gain notoriety, she signed to Women's Pro Wrestling Federation (WPWF). At the time, this was a VWE Developmental federation. She spent the majority of her Indy Career here, becoming the WPWF Siren Rising Champion. It wasn't long before heads were turned right towards her direction when several of the same questions kept getting brought up. "Have you joined VWE yet?". She finished up the last of her indie shows with APW and HAWX to join VWE soon afterwards.

Virtual Wrestling Entertainment - (2014-Present)

Lyra knew where she wanted to go, where her skills can consistently improve as well as show off all that she knows and always seek a challenge. Virtual Wrestling Entertainment has what Lyra seeks. This is the place she calls Home. Lyra's skills were always placed on display as well as tested against some of SL Wrestling's best performers such as Christina Krovac, Lily Martinez, Rie Kurihara, and much more. During her time she has managed to become a 2x VWE Radiance Champion, Women's National Champion, and Intergender Tag Team Champion.

VWE Year 1 - Debut

Lyra was invited for a tryout with Virtual Wrestling Entertainment (VWE) in early 2014, and then worked in the VWE developmental territory, VWE eXperience & Women's Pro Wrestling Federation (WPWF). Lyra began her VWE run with minimum success, facing off against veterans such as Christina Krovac, Hilary Lanifer, Horses Morrisey and so on. It was clear her skillset was poor compared to the VWE Veterans at the time. The grand majority of her matches were of a loss. It took time for her to gain her footing within to begin learning and matching the skills of the talents. Even though through trials and tribulations, she quickly earned an opportunity for the VWE Women's International Championship. at Clash at the Beach (July 16, 2014), Lyra faced off against the current VWE Women's International Champion Maxine and Alison Daines in a triple threat match. During the match, an incident occurred when she was thrown over the ropes landing head-first onto the comms pool. This resulted to her receiving partial amnesia, losing some of her memories. The match still continued after Lyra was taken backstage for treatment, resulting in Alison Daines becoming the VWE Women's International Champion.

Under the Mask of the Redwing (July 23, 2014 - February 13, 2015)

Shortly after Clash at the Beach, Lyra became the secretary to the VP of the VWE at the time. Unbeknown to the Audience, She began appearing as a masked vigilante known as "The Redwing". This was due to her receiving a concussion during Clash at the Beach. During this time-frame she went on attacking those that were disrespecting the rules of the ring and those who took a step further with what they can get away with within. "The Redwing" played in the early part in the VWE Civil War with the Austin Alliance where she faced off against Rie Kurihara. However after her defeat at Fallout 2015, she was unmasked and disappeared from the VWE.

VWE Year 2 - Return of the Phoenix (July 24th, 2017 - November 9th, 2018)

Lyra returned to VWE after 2 years with a newfound presences and determination. Her goal this time around was simple, Becoming VWE Women's World Champion. She was not new around the block this time around after going through the Indies once again. She knew she had to make a statement, a big one. Lyra charged right through the PULSE Roster going right up to the Main Roster almost immediately to challenge for the VWE Women's World Championship. However at the time, Eyes were not set onto her. There were a number of new talent that joined VWE that were also making a name for themselves as well as returning legends as before. Names such as Marcy "Sass" Schafer, "The Banshee" Ellie Embers, June Gloom, Christina Krovac, Lily Martinez, and more. This was a lot more tougher this time around with names such as these. Lyra feuded off and on with talent until she gained her first actual opportunity for the VWE Radiance Championship. On October 26th at Six Feet Under, Lyra finally obtained the VWE Radiance Championship. This was her first ever championship win in VWE. However it was also the spark of controversy, with fans calling out "Nepotism" to VWE. This forced the hand of Stuart Warf, owner of VWE at the time, to cowardly succumb to these "threats", forcing Lyra to defend every week until she lost it eventually to Brooke Owens and then suspend her from even participating in Wrestleseries X.

VWE Year 3 - Reputation & Respect (January 14th 2019 - December 6th, 2019)

Lyra lost all respect for Stuart Warf after that controversy, not even acknowledging him as the "business man" he claimed to be. This wasn't the only thing she lost, because of the incident she lost some of her own reputation. Fans that she had no longer came to VWE, her business was tarnished, and she was getting booked to oblivion only opening shows with exhibition matches. 2019 was looking to be by far her worst year in VWE. She was close to just ending it all and just retiring altogether since Stuart Warf saw absolutely nothing in her. However an old friend of her managed to get Lyra back and focused with inspirational words and well, beating them into her head. on October 11th, She defeated Rani Patel & Becky to regain the VWE Radiance Championship, However her eyes were set on something else. Wrestleseries XI. She never had a chance to participate at Wrestleseries ever since she joined VWE. This was finally her shot and she took it, Successfully defending the VWE Radiance Championship against Rani Patel & Viola Beaumont.

VWE Year 4 - Wildfire (January 14th 2020 - December 17th, 2020)

Lyra entered 2020 as the Radiance Champion, Vowing to start the year boots to the ground running. She had many contenders for the Radiance Championship from top to bottom. She ultimately lost the Radiance Championship on February 25th against Viola Beaumont as she was blind folded due to GM Falcon's orders, leaving her to have a 137 day reign. The Championship was then afterwards turned into the PULSE Exhibition Championship. At VWE VERSUS on April 10th, She teamed up with Diamond Club with the promise of an opportunity for the VWE Women's World Championship (which never came to pass due to Diamond Club ultimately losing as a whole at VWE VERSUS).

This year was worth the Challenge however she set her eyes on a new Championship, the VWE National Championship. This Championship was held by Rani Patel, Lyra's main rival in VWE. on August 21st, she answered Rani's open challenged and defeated her to become the new VWE National Champion. However her reign was short-lived as Rani challenged and reclaimed it back on October 23rd. At this point, it was time for Lyra to finally spread her wings. She achieved all the possible championships there were available to her except the one that has eluded her the most, The VWE Women's World Championship. Throughout the rest of the year, Lyra rallied the fans for a match against the "Past vs. Present vs. Future", signifying "Christina Krovac vs. Lyra Phoenix vs. Marcy "Sass" Schafer". This was met by opposition by not only Christina Krovac, but also Rani Patel whom just lost the VWE National Championship. The Stakes were all against her, but Victor Kessel Jr came through and made several matches happen for Wrestleseries XII. It was to be Lyra Phoenix vs. Rani Patel at the start of Wrestleseries, winner goes to advance into the Triple Threat against Christina Krovac & Marcy "Sass" Schafer. At Wrestleseries XII, Lyra defeated Rani Patel to advance to the Triple Threat. She ultimately came up short as Marcy "Sass" Schafer became the new VWE Women's World Champion.

VWE Year 5 - Time 2 Burn (January 22nd, 2021 - November 12th, 2021)

Lyra was ultimately focused at this point setting her mind for one goal, the VWE Women's World Championship. Once again however, her ideas were snagged yet again as Rani Patel defeated her at VWE Horizon to become the #1 Contender for the VWE Women's World Championship. Shortly after, Rani became the Women's Champion as Lyra failed to win the Queen of the Arena. Defeated and Exhausted, Lyra spiralled downward in her career just tired of constantly coming up short of her goal and started to pin the blame of her own failures onto others. It wasn't until a former adversary, Viola Beaumont, finally knocked some sense into Lyra stating it was her own fault for her failures to break the glass ceiling. From then, Lyra reignited herself to become the new #1 Contender at VWE Path to Prestige for the Women's World Championship.

Rani was already making plans for Lyra, knowing fully well her title reign is in jeopardy. Rani threw everything at Lyra to make sure she would not make it to Beachbrawl, however Lyra just threw back everything at her 10 fold. At VWE Beachbrawl Lyra finally made her dream into a reality, defeating Rani to become the 38th VWE Women's World Champion.

However fate had other plans. on September 17th, 2021 just minutes after she sucessfully defended for the first time the VWE Women's World Championship against Tracy Stollings at VWE Elimination Royale, Kat Monroe came out and sucessfully cashed in her breifcase on Lyra, shortening her title reign. This sick twist of fate came crashing down onto her consiousness, taking a turn to what once was dormant inside. The Bird of Prey.

on November 12th, 2021, Lyra despite all her words of respect, fairness, and inspiration used brutal, hollowed means to defeat Kat Monroe, Rani Patel & Viola Beaumont to become the VWE Women's World Championship once again. She thus left her mark on all 3 of them, attacking Kat with chained fist and stomping down on Viola as The Vulture leaves with her reward.

The Bird of Prey (November 12th, 2021 - Present)

Throughout the year, There was another whomed the fans believed was going to become the next VWE Women's World Champion after her victory at Elimination Royale, Danni. This talent was not to be taken lightly for how fast she has risen through the ranks of the women's division, quickly gaining championship opportunities and winning big events. This was something that Lyra disliked, someone whom she believed took the easy path to gain her reputation and opportunites. Lyra was not going to let someone like her take what she rightfully deserves whether the people liked it or not, And the stage to get set at was set at Wrestleseries 13.

On December 9th, 2021, Lyra and Danni faced off against one another which was a spectale in itself. Blow after blow both ladies laid it all on the line. Eventually all had to come to an end as Lyra Phoenix came out victorious. Lyra Phoenix stood on top... no... as the mountain of the VWE women's division with no equal. Her Championship reign finally ended at VWE FrostByte against Viola Beaumont, Afterwards she departed from VWE.
