Violet Angel
Template:2019 Wrestler's BioViolet Angel, real name Johanna Smith (born June 20th, 1988), is a Swedish-American virtual professional wrestler. She is currently signed to Neo Cyber Society Wrestling, making her in-ring debut on May 7th, 2020.
Background
Johanna Smith is a rabbit hailing originally from Gothenburg, Sweden, born into a poor family of immigrants with five siblings and their parents.
Her childhood was one of horror and pain as before she had even become 2 years, she was put up for adoption with her siblings after having been taken from her parents, who had been legally declared incapable of raising kids, resulting in Johanna going between orphanages when her unusual condition was discovered, making her become known as the daughter of Satan. It would take until her 9th birthday before a family flew in from Houston, Texas, to pick her up after hearing her story and her medical condition, but they didn't care as they always wanted a daughter with raven black hair, mostly since the couple had been unable to conceive a child of their own. Once they were back in Houston, the truth came out when Johanna began to grow out purple hair, explaining that the caretakers at the orphanage had dyed her hair black to hide her blessing of the Norse divines.
Johanna's life in Houston was filled with better days than what she had in Gothenburg, and once of age, she decided to follow her heart and become a police officer after doing her time at boot camp and police academy. It was after years of service that Johanna was asked to join the police force in the small community of Angel City that her life would get a massive turn.
In Angel City, she met up with the police force, which was only seven other people, but the chief wasn't impressed by Johanna's appearance at all and was about to send her away, when one of the officers spoke up to let her ride with him. The officer in question was the one that no one used the real name of, but rather the nickname, Azrael, given by the locals for his ruthless efficiency of bringing criminals in. The chief was not going to question his best officer and allowed Johanna to follow him around, something that Johanna did without questioning due to Azrael's sheer size.
As time went by, Johanna showed great progress in developing to become a ruthless officer like Azrael, something he didn't care much for, as she was only learning from him and he would soon let her go. This would change, as one day during patrol, the police cruiser that Azrael and Johanna were riding in suddenly got rammed by criminals and was sent tumbling out on a field, during which Johanna's belt came loose and she was tossed out the cruiser at the final tumbling, landing near the driver's side. Johanna looked up at Azrael, who sat in the driver's seat, his face and chest covered in blood from the broken glass. This made Johanna try to get up to bring him out of the car, but it was hindered by one of her arms being trapped under the heavy cruiser. Remembering the reason why she had become a police officer in the first place, Johanna managed to open the door with her feet and skillfully maneuvering her feet and only arm to loosen the belt and pulling herself by enough force to dislocate her shoulder on the trapped arm, putting up with the pain to make Azrael land on her before she got a hold of the radio and called for help.
The action earned Johanna the untold respect from the chief and her fellow officers, including Azrael, who openly told them that he had never truly been cared for by anyone. Not his parents, not the teachers, not even by any of them, but Johanna had been the first one to truly show that someone cared for him, and for this he was eternally grateful. The opening of his heart left the officers stunned and they promised to reform how they treated each other.
As a reward for her selfless action, the Police Commissioner of Goliad County had Johanna be given a metal arm to make her a symbol of Angel City as its "Metal arm of the law".
The experience from the car crash did however make Johanna want to take some time off from the force to try something else out, to which Azrael suggested that Johanna tries out wrestling as she seems to not care of putting herself on the line to do what she feels is right.
This became the start for her future endeavors as she left to join the first federation with Azrael's words giving her the ring name she would carry with pride. "Go forth and claim your destiny, Violet Angel."
