DCWF Wrestlefest XIII

DCWF Wrestlefest XIII was an FPV for DCWF held on the 28th of February 2021 being the thirteenth annual Wrestlefest the promotions flagship yearly FPV event. It was main evented by an Title vs Career match where "Jelly" Jerrico Scarbridge put his Career on the line against the DCWF World Heavyweight Champion "The Man" Michael Tomas who had put his title on the line. Also here the co main event saw the crowning of an new DCWF Women's Champion following the title being vacated following DCWF Wargames by Brooke Owens after she sustained too many injuries to continue.

Storylines Heading Into Wrestlefest XIII

One of the Storylines will surround the DCWF Women's Championship that is currently vacant following Brooke Owens suffering major injuries and being forced to vacate the DCWF Women's Championship following the Wargames Match at the Wargames FPV. It has been announced that an new DCWF Women's Champion will be crowned at this show. On the 14th of February and promo between Gina Rose, Jaxi Velineaux, Horses Morrisey and Ery lead to the commissioner of DCWF Numbers Rossini announced that the four of them would face off in an fatal four way match to crown an new DCWF Women's Champion at Wrestlefest XIII.

On the 24th of January 2021 edition of DCWF Full Tilt Jelly Jerrico Scarbridge made an direct challenge to the DCWF World Heavyweight Champion The Man Michael Thomas following an series of attacks over time. Michael would answer this but add the stipulation it be Title vs Career for the match. They signed the contract on the 21st of February confirming the match and the stipulation upon this date.

Also recently confirmed was the return of the Chaos For The Contract match this time exclusively for the Men's Division it is currently unknown who would be involved or what the match type would be.

On the 29th of January SLCW Women's Champion Kimberly Smith announced via her twitter account an mini tourney consisting of two one on one matches on the 31st of January DCWF Full Tilt the winners will face each other one week later to determine an no 1 contender to the SLCW Women's Championship at Wrestlefest XIII. On the 31st of Janaury Emma Grey and Kira Scarbridge advanced to the finals during their qualifying matches this match is provisionally scheduled for the 7th of February to determine the no 1 contender for the SLCW Women's Championship. On the 7th of February the match between Kira Scarbridge and Emma Grey ended in an double count out Kimberly Smith who was watching the match at ringside announced them both to be winners and number one contenders establishing an triple threat match for Wrestlefest.

At the go home DCWF Full Tilt on the 21st of February an video promo played where the SLCW Men's Champion Drewski Hoxley issued an open challenge to any of the roster for an title match at Wrestlefest XIII. Upon social media on the 23rd of February it was announced by Xander Garcia he would be accepting and answering the challenge to an match.

Also on that night an fatal four way match was stopped by Numbers Rossini who then booked an Fatal Four Way Hardcore Match for Wrestlefest as Samanatha Foxy vs Vanessa Da Silva vs Regan Blair vs Carmelita Marcel following their match descending into violent chaos having the match thrown out.

Event Summary

The opening contest was the Triple Threat Match for the SLCW Women's Championship with Kira Scarbridge and Emma Grey challenging the SLCW Women's Champion Kimberly Smith for the title. Kira Scarbridge entered first with an gaming themed entrance entering as Mario and having her own Yoshi while the other challenger Emma Grey came out in full Ireland mode with an Irish themed gear and special entrance music finally the champion Kimberly Smith would come out with an English Flag drapped as an cape on her back and entered to her new entrance theme Underdog by Kasabian for the first ever time. The match was intense back and forth between the three of them massive moments included Kim breaking up an pin with the Going Underground and Kira breaking up an pin from the Bow Bells Kick performed by Kim. Towards the end of the match Kira Scarbridge was looking on top when "The Red Devil" Samara Moonweaver would come out and deliver an haymaker with brass knuckles to take out Kira Scarbridge the later part witnessed by Kimberly Smith whom chased her off. It looked like Emma Grey was going to win the match however when she went for Irelands Fall Kimberly would roll through ending up behind Emma and performing an Piccadilly Driver before pinning to win the match and retain the SLCW Women's Championship after the initial celebration Kimberly congratulated her opponents all congratulating eachother on an fair close match. This of course was an historic moment "The Underdog From The Underground" Kimberly Smith had managed to again defy the odds to become the first SLCW Women's Champion for at least three years to retain the championship at Wrestlefest.

The second match was the mens Chaos Contract match this turned out to be an 6 man over the top rope battle royal see results and notes for entry lists. The match was fast the first eliminated was Deatheater who was eliminated by Mythil fairly early on in the match this was later announced to be Deatheaters final DCWF appearance the character being retired shortly after. Next eliminated was Brian Bennet who was eliminated by Ace Nightfire who was then himself eliminated by Shiryo. The match slowed down Cypher was in control for an while until he was tossed out by Shiryo. The final two were Mythil Woycek and Shiryo the two went back and forth Shiryo seamed to get the upper hand but turned his back upon Mythil who took advantage dropkicking him over the top rope to eliminate Shiryo and win the match and become the holder of the Chaos Contract despite being an former multi time champion of many championship titles this is now his first time holding the Chaos Contract.

The third match out was the hardcore women's division match which was reduced to an triple threat between Samantha Foxy Regan Blair and Vannessa Da Silva going into it everybody knew it would be violent to the point of Samantha Foxy entered with multiple kendo sticks just about anywhere she could carry them. The match was rather brutal at least two kendo sticks Regan Blairs shovel and an table were used during the match as well as multiple hard looking bumps outside the ring. Eventually with Vannessa out of it looked like Regan Blair was going to win but Samantha Foxy reversed and set up for the Exalted lariat to pin Regan and win the match at her first DCWF Wrestlefest event.
